Luke Robinson , the middle son of Mike and Barbara Robinson, was born and raised in Hanford, California. Luke attended Chapman University and graduated with a BS in Accounting. While attending Chapman University, he worked as a paid intern for Wachovia Securities, where he gained considerable experience doing portfolio analyses, retirement plans, and 401Ks. After college, he returned to Hanford and went to work for another Robinson family entity becoming the General Manager for Adventure Park. Later, he went to work for Martin C. Garcia Accountancy where he honed his accounting skills. While there, Luke enjoyed helping clients who were panicked about their IRS notices. He liked calming them down and then helping them resolve their situations happily. Luke is a member of CalCPA. Today, Luke is the Controller for both Robinson's Interiors Carpet One in Hanford and Robinson's Flooring in Fresno. In addition, he is busy managing the business. When not working, Luke loves to spend time with his wife and four children and, of course, the huge Robinson family.

Jim Hickcox has a rich background in our business having worked in flooring sales since 1985 , mostly in the Sacramento area. When he moved to Fresno, he contacted Robinson’s Interiors and came on board in 2018.
Jim’s first sales job was in a men’s clothing store back in 1958 where he worked for $1.25 hour. This job helped him create a framework for serving his customers the rest of his life. He said, “I realized when someone walks into a store they are walking into the store for a reason . It’s my job to figure that out. I still strive to make it a point to converse with customers and find out what their true needs are.”
He is particularly knowledgeable about hardwood flooring. “In all the flooring I put in, I really enjoy putting in hardwood,” he said. “I love to help clients pick out the best hardwood for their situation.”
Jim also enjoys the new hardwood-look luxury vinyl plank products that are waterproof. “I’ve watched that industry since it first started and they keep making the product better and better.”
Another specialty area for Jim is flooring for multi-unit apartment buildings . “I had one customer with a 275 unit apartment complex and 15 different models. I worked with the customer, the contractor, and the interior decorator. Things don’t always look the same on a job site as they do on paper. So it’s important to be on site to know exactly what needs to be done and to make sure things are done the right way.”
“Making sure things are done right leads to happy customers and that’s how I get the most satisfaction,” he said.
The best advice Jim every received was from a priest who said, “If you do your best and put the best effort forward, you’ll have more success in life than you thought you would.”
When Jim is not working, he enjoys golf and spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.

Matt Karle is a lifelong resident of Sanger, California. He enjoyed growing up in the small town community and enjoys raising his family there.
His first job was as a busboy at DiCicco’s. There, he learned the value of hard work. “As a 16 year old you realize that money is not just going to be handed to you. You gotta work for it,” he said.
Matt began his flooring career in Sanger where he worked for a dealer. He began in the warehouse. After five years, he got a chance to take a sales job and worked in that capacity for another 23 years until the store closed. During that time, he attended numerous training classes put on by major flooring brands.
A job he remembers as memorable was the DMV building in Manchester Center. “It was a challenging job; it had carpet, ceramic tile, and sheet vinyl. The bathrooms were huge and the tiles continued up the wall to the ceiling, with patterns, and it turned out really well. It finished up better than we expected with a lot less hassle than we had anticipated.”
Matt joined Robinson’s Interiors in 2018. He continues helping all sorts of customers. He is experienced in all avenues of flooring projects, whether residential, apartments, retail, commercial, or tenant improvement.
He especially enjoys interacting with people. “Everyday is different,” he said. “It’s a great opportunity to make someone happy—to help make their house a home, make it the way they want it.”
When not working, Matt enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, golf, and sports
